BGMTL Objectives

Our Mission

• The main goal of BG MTL is to be the main information and social hub for Bulgarians in Montreal and the region. We work to:

• Unify the community: To provide up-to-date information on all events, cultural initiatives and news that interest Bulgarians in Montreal.

• Connect people: To build a platform for contacts that facilitates interaction, mutual support and the creation of new professional and personal friendships.

• Inform in a timely manner: To be a reliable source for everything important - from local news to practical guidelines for our daily lives here.

• Maintain the spirit: To promote the preservation of Bulgarian traditions by providing easy access to communities and resources that unite us.

How can we improve the “Useful Links” and “Contacts” sections: To achieve your goal of connecting people, I suggest structuring these sections as follows:

• Direct contact form: For questions or suggestions for events.

• Social Media: Active links to your Facebook group or page where discussions are most lively.

• Newsletter: An opportunity for people to sign up for a weekly email with upcoming events and news.

Useful Links and Resources Section:

• Events Calendar: An interactive calendar with upcoming concerts, meetings, or celebrations.

• Community Directory: A list of Bulgarian businesses, professionals, or institutions (such as schools and cultural organizations) in Montreal.

• Forum or Group: A direct link to a place where members can post announcements or search for information.
