Nearly 100 dancers from various cities across the country will gather on May 17 for the Bulgarian Festival of Montreal!

1:00 – 2:30 pm: stage performances
2:30 - 4:00 pm: hora dances with the audience
The annual Bulgarian festival in Montreal will take place on May 17, 2026, starting at 1:00 pm at Cabot Square (Atwater metro station 📍)
Once again, we have prepared a colorful program filled with lots of dancing and fun. You’ll be able to enjoy performances by the hosts—the “Zornitsa” Ensemble—as well as, of course, guest Bulgarian and international groups from Montreal and Canada.
To wrap things up, we’ll once again lead a big, communal Bulgarian horo, and everyone is invited to join in.
So save the date, put on some comfortable shoes, and come to the town square dressed in Bulgarian attire (traditional costumes are welcome too)!
